Yesterday I caught Englebright at the tail end of the day, so today I went back to catch these shots.

The high water level encompasses this normally-dry tree. On the way up, a view of the sherrif's boat. At the lookout. "Englebright Falls" in full view. A four-meg QuickTime.

Panorama of the area. Taking the path down the other side. A look back at the lookout. (Much more detailed if you can see this in stereo.)

Farther on down the path... ...you'll get views like this. The path's make-up changes. While angling for a better shot, I discover something I'd never found in all my earlier hikes: a mineshaft. Here in stereo. Just inside was a pool of water, as water was constantly dripping from the top. Ferns grew within, the echo of swallows drifting out.

These flower shots aren't part of the overall view: I just couldn't resist them.

John, Sharon & I took the pups out for a walk...

Wish I'd brought my visor... ...but the sun does feel great! John & Sharon at top of upper Deer Creek Falls. Up close.

The pups enjoy the water. Later Sharon catches a shot of moi... I catch this flower... Then this terrific shot of a happy couple.

Three shots of Englebright dam bedecked with a "mistbow."

From the upper viewing platform. From the lower view.

Again from the lower: a panorama view.

June 25 & 26, 03
A few new flowers popping up...

Some new fluff After watching these budding for weeks... ...they finally open! Nice in 3D

These guys covering the hills in many spots Lots of wild Sweet Pea everywhere Heading back along the trail next day I take several mosquito bites in sacrifice to get this tight stereo shot

August 7th, 03
An excursion down to the lower falls brings me these shots

After crossing the creek to the other side, I catch this view. Zooming in on the upper falls... ...then down to the lower. Getting closer... ...and down lower.

Front left. Looking at the chute leading to the lower falls. Here the chute. Here the falls. Back to the front of the upper falls.

Off to the side with a portrait shot. Very beautiful, like a movie set!   I'm about ready to dive in. If you can see it in stereo...

<- Now hiking back up the South side, here's the August view...

...as compared to the April view. ->

Quite a difference!

My new Loreo stereo lens brings me back to photographing the upper falls three years later. What a joy being able to capture moving water once again! (Used to auto focus, I often forgot to adjust the focus on this lens, so images are often soft.) I made these images especially for my good Ssstereo pal... the Martolissima!

The very top then cruising down stereo froth! tumblestone drills a very tiny fall behind the grass

cruising down one path then turning the other way back around to access the other side, finding driftwood and stereographing other falls one a little higher up

another tumblestone drill pack man rock! now to the side of "the other way" another view of the same area and yet again

just too cool not to take several pics of then backing out and looking back now - way downstream, several pics stacked time to look at other falls

slowing the speed these other falls just look great close up of one then backing out

looking down over that same fall is in the front a nice picnic area and a couple of last shots
